    about the gardenpomes

The gardenpomes project began in 2014, as Instagram posts @jasonaeiou tagged #gardenpomes (IG); and tweeted #gardenpomes

The photos are taken in my garden with a smartphone, with some exceptions.

The poems then reflect what is captured in the photo, what is felt or thought that day, what is imagined through looking.

The poems are scribed immediately after the photo is taken. All initially take form as tetrameter couplets and then play with iambic trochaic spondaic anapestic dactylic rhythms, idioms and pearls.
