I am an Educator, Strategist, Consultant, Producer, and Poet.
I work with Artists, Creators, Students and Faculty. I also work with Business and Civic Leaders, Analysts and Administrators. I do this work through my company, TymeLyne, and through various personal and professional collaborations. In 2014, I co-founded a nonprofit art center and artist residency program based in Boise, called MING Studios. Our mission is to exhibit, experience and explore contemporary arts and cultures. MING Studios provides exhibition space and resources for featured international artists, who create new work influenced by their experiences and collaborations in Idaho. MING Studios also hosts innovative programs, including a podcast called My_on Mondays, workshops and cultural activities, performances, screenings, readings, and artist talks. I also teach a course (ITM 310 Business Intelligence) in the College of Business and Economics (COBE) at Boise State University. In this course, students learn how industry and organizations use data to effectively collect, evaluate, and apply information. In my previous role as Global Strategy Lead for Data & AI on the Worldwide Education team at Microsoft, I helped to launch and scale the Open Education Analytics (OEA) initiative to institutions, ministries and departments of education globally. During this time, I also co-hosted the podcast Ideate: Re-thinking Data & Ai in Education, to explore how guests foster innovation within their organizations using data and artificial intelligence. Through my contributions and collaborations, I actively inspire Creators and Leaders to invest in Community and dynamic business ventures, and to express themselves through artful experiences and dialogues. |
